Abstract In the midst of earth’s pressing climate catastrophe, nexus between ecology and religion merits further investigation. this article, I attempt to illuminate certain important aspects by analyzing various Hindu eco-theological motifs, with a particular focus on those religious tradition known as Caitanya Vaiṣṇavism. will compare contrast motifs Vaiṣṇavism other notable traditions texts. Ultimately, demonstrate that Vaiṣṇava can, when properly interpreted applied, serve valuable environmentally oriented conceptual resources. also argue these can offset some pitfalls limit effectiveness pan-Hindu resources for environmental amelioration. Although framework is not without hurdles, nevertheless maintain are worthy reflection.
